Twitter (X) Advanced Search Launcher
Every Twitter/X advanced search operator in one friendly form. Fill in what you need, watch the query build itself, and launch it on X — no syntax to memorize. Works just as well on your phone as on desktop.
Separate multiple words with spaces or commas.
Paste a profile URL or type a handle — with or without the @. Multiple handles become an OR group.
Great noise filters — min_faves:500 surfaces only posts that took off.

Twitter Advanced Search — FAQ
How do I search tweets from a specific user?
Use the from: operator — for example from:naval finds every post written by @naval. In this tool, type the handle (or paste the profile URL) into the From field under People. Combine it with keywords, dates, or min_faves: to narrow the results.
How do I search tweets by date?
Use since:YYYY-MM-DD and until:YYYY-MM-DD to define a date window, e.g. since:2024-01-01 until:2024-06-30. Dates are interpreted in UTC. The Dates card in this tool fills them in with a date picker, plus one-click ranges like "Past week".
How do I find a tweet I only half-remember?
Put the words you remember in the exact-phrase field (they become a quoted "…" search), and add from: if you remember who posted it. Switching the results tab to Latest and adding a rough since:/until: window helps a lot.
Can I save my advanced search on Twitter?
X itself only lets you save a plain search from the results page (via the ••• menu), and long operator queries are easy to lose. This tool does it for you: every search you launch lands in the Saved & recent list on the Launch Pad, and clicking the ★ next to one pins it permanently — pinned searches are never pushed out by newer ones. It's all stored locally in your browser.
Why don't near:, geocode: or source: work anymore?
X has retired several historical operators — near:, geocode:, source: and card_name: no longer return results. That's why this builder leaves them out and only generates operators that still work.
Is this tool free? Does it see my X account?
Yes, it's completely free, and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to any server — the tool simply builds a query string and opens x.com/search with it. Your recent launches are stored locally in your browser only.
About this tool
Built and maintained by the team behind XStickies, the Chrome extension for private notes on X profiles. We made it to speed up the searches we run every day for our own research, and we publish it for free.
Every operator in the cheat sheet is one we have verified by running real searches on X (x.com); operators that no longer return results, such as near: and geocode:, are left out. X changes its search behavior without notice, so if an operator stops working, let us know via the contact form.
Found interesting people? Don't lose them.
XStickies adds private notes and tags to any X profile — so the accounts you discover with great searches stay organized. Free, privacy-first.
